ABSTRACT

Objective To study primary transfer and secondary transfer of exfoliated cells by handshaking and touching. Methods Firstly, volunteers wash hands , then shake hands between two volunteers, after that each volunteer touch the cleaned glass. Finally, pick up the DNA from the glass. Results STR loci that can be extracted from glasses. Under the same conditions, the number of STR loci obtained by primary transfer is more than that obtained by the secondary transfer. Conclusion Primary transfer and secondary transfer of exfoliated cells could happened by handshaking and touching. Therefore, in forensic work, we should pay great attention to the pollution problems caused by DNA transfer.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the effect of prescription review on rational clinical use by means of regional data.Methods Analysis of two prescriptions review data of Beijing municipal hospitals,to compare the rational rate of prescriptions,makeup of irrational prescriptions,and effect variations following feedback.Results Of the 21 hospitals involved,the total rational rate of prescriptions rose from 89.4% to 97.1% following prescription review and feedback of results.In the second review,those found of the highest irrational and the most significant improvements were both irrational indications, with the irrational rate dropping from 90.7% to 44.2%. As reported in feedback for the first prescription review,9 out of 10 druguses found as irrational,have disappeared from the second review. Conclusion The regional administrative prescription reviews can improve the rational clinical drug use, encouraging rational drug use.

ABSTRACT

Objective To evaluate the effect of performance evaluation on pharmacy management at hospitals run by Beijing Municipal Administration of Hospitals.Methods Analysis of performance evaluation indexes,and retrospective analysis of drug use indexes of the recent three years since the initiation of performance evaluation at the hospital.Results Continuous performance management has significantly boosted indexes of hospital pharmacy management. For example in 2014, medicine proportion at municipal hospitals accounted for 41.55%.Conclusion Awareness of rational drug use at hospitals has significantly strengthened, and the pharmacists played a positive role in upgrading pharmacy.Performance evaluation promotes Beijing ’s municipal hospitals to put their pharmacy management on a scientific and standardized track.

ABSTRACT

The ongoing health reform encourages pharmacists of public hospitals to change their traditional role positioning to satisfy patients’urgent needs in medical dosage guidance.This calls for greater capacity of hospital pharmacy services.Pharmaceutical consultation constitutes a major means of quality service of pharmacists for the people.The paper introduced the standard of establishing the pharmaceutical consultation center and the content of assessment system which are jointly worked out by Beijing Municipal Hospital Authority and the hospitals under the administration of the Beijing Municipal Government,and share the practice & effect in assessing and improving their performance.
